What this site is

KeyWestDoc is an educational guide. It has no user accounts, no login, no forms, and no way to submit information to us through the site. We do not collect, store, or process personal health information, because there is nowhere on the site to enter any.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for standard, aggregate traffic measurement: which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links get used. GA4 uses cookies and collects device and usage data as described in Google's own privacy documentation. We see aggregate reports, not identified individuals. You can block analytics with your browser's tracking protections or Google's opt-out browser add-on, and the site works identically either way.

Server logs and the conditions strip

Like nearly every website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time). The live weather strip on the home page is served through this site's own endpoint, which applies short-lived, IP-based rate limiting to prevent abuse; those rate-limit records are temporary technical files, not a profile of you, and no personal data is stored beyond them.

Third-party data shown on this site

The home page weather strip displays data from the National Weather Service and from Open-Meteo (weather data by Open-Meteo, used with attribution). Those services provide the weather values; they do not receive anything about you from us.

This guide links out constantly by design: to practice websites, to sister sites including keywestortho.com and keywesthealthcare.com, and to government and medical sources. Each of those sites has its own privacy practices, and this policy stops at our edge.
